The kitchen of our client’s home is situated in the serene, leafy surrounds of Bondi’s eastern suburbs. Located at the heart of an open-plan living area, the design prioritises a contemporary, gallery-inspired kitchen. The focal point of the space is a striking feature island, framed in bright white Calacatta marble with sleek waterfall edges. To add warmth and texture, the island incorporates a teak timber inlay, creating a balanced contrast with the cool, luxurious tones of the marble.
The Calacatta marble is continued across the splashback, seamlessly blending with the white cabinetry and benchtops to create a cohesive, sophisticated look. We selected 60mm thick white Corian solid surface for all worktops, ensuring a flawless, seamless finish that complements the minimalist design.
Stainless steel fittings and fixtures have been carefully chosen to harmonise with the marble’s delicate grey veining, enhancing the overall visual flow of the space. The result is a refined, contemporary kitchen that feels both timeless and inviting, perfectly suited to the client’s lifestyle.
